Louis looked fitter? theres pudge even on his midsection.
And no i do not want my fighters to look like bodybuilders but Louis looks like he could lose a few pounds still.

Now Brewster had too much bulk but at least you can see his abs.
Their legs actually look about the same, but Louis had a much smaller upper body frame.

Yes; they're both over 6′ 1″ or something.

That never happened. Did you actually watch the fight?

When people pathetically click their fingers and make their man into something he never was in his career they tend to have lost the debate.

I'm not debating anything, and I never said he would win. Settle down. But to say he could not compete is utter bull****.

The best explication, retired boxers are always overrated.

No they're not. There are 1000's and 1000's (and 1000's) of boxers from the past 100 or so years. 99% of them are not even known or talked about.

People aren't even discussing the special 1% here. They are talking of arguably the best heavyweight the world has ever seen. Whether you think Louis could beat a Klitschko or not...you can't just write him off as a no-hoper.

  8. Size means nothing! Joe Louis at 200 pounds would KO Wlad in 5.
Score a TKO over Vitali in 8.
    Louis KO5 Klitschko
    Louis TKO8 Klitschko

People have to remember that when comparing fighters from different eras, you have to put them on even playing fields. If Louis fought today he would weigh around 220. He was 6'1 or 6'2 and he would have his normal incredible skill and punch power. He'd **** the Klitschko's up.

If that's the case it should work both ways; how would you downscale modern SHW by 70 years?
