I know alot of people are high on Ortiz right now, alot of people got back on the bandwagon after the Berto fight, but lets not forget this guy basically quit because he thought in his words he was too young to be taking punishment, but now that he feels he is old enough to get punched for a living, do you think the fact that khan stopped him as an AM and robbed him of his Junior Olympic gold medal and the fact that he beat the guy who made him quit and cry affect him if they ever fought each other? alot of people are saying they are friends, but deep inside ortiz is like that friend whos girl you are now with and acts like he dont give a fukk but really he cries himself to sleep every night and wishes bad things on you. Whats your opinion?

They seem cool with each other, I think ortiz is professional enough to grow over this, this isnt the amateurs anymore and he has a very good chance of winning this fight when it happens.

Amateurs bare little relevance to pro game. At 147, Victor’s the favourite, in my opinion.

It will always play on your mind if your fighting a guy you lost to in the past. Since the Berto fight alot of people are now saying Ortiz would knock Khan out which is funny! If khan makes 10% of the improvements Ortiz made by moving to 147 he beats him all day long! We all know that khan is very big for 140 so 147 will be his natural weight! If you look at the Khan of 135 to the Khan at 140 there two different beasts!!!! So imagine what Khan will be like at 147! Ortiz knows this he isnt stupid.

Little bit harsh dont you think LOL!

I see this being a fairly good fight between Ortiz and Khan if they ever get it on!

Watch that friendship go out of the window, I guarantee Amir will say something below the belt :D

i'll be honest; khan spanks ortiz. bends him over his knee & spanks him like a little child.

one decent win & ****ers are all over ortiz's nuts. he's easy to hit, top level guys will find it easy to outbox him & there are question marks over his heart.

what happened in the ams has no baring on this fight...but i see khan taking him out just like jhe did in the ams regardless.

LoL @ Khan beat the guy who made ortiz quit.....He survived and looked like a defeated fighter at the final bell. Ortiz would walk him down just like maidana did and land even more. Kahn's game is outside to mid range were he becomes a volume flurry puncher if you let him, once you get inside and rough him up a bit he gets sloppy, maidana did this with success and victor is much more accurate with his punches. The amateur fight is not a good measuring stick at this point i think but it depends on the fighter, cotto was able to put a whooping on pinto who beat him as an amateur and mosley took his loss to the ring against forest so its hard to tell. I still think Ortiz will be the better fighter @ 147.

Ortiz style as a pro is far more effective than it was in the AM's, Khan is the exact opposite. Ortiz is a TERRIBLE style match up for Khan. I'd pick Ortiz everytime, Khan's been getting way too much hype on here these days. Ortiz by brutal KO

    khans doing fine.

rios would be a stylistical nightmare for khan not ortiz, ortiz is mentally weak and if he cant back you up or hurt you he folds, he hurt peterson but peterson wouldnt give up and found home with the right hand and ortiz gave up i can see khan landing the same type of right hand over and over again.
