Just wondering how people feel Dempsey would go in todays heavyweight divison, would he be able to cope with the tall heavyweights of today.

IMO i feel he would knock out mthe majority of them, probably would have difficulty withe the Klits height and reach advantage, but hey if he could stop big Jess Willard why not the Klits!??

jack would either get Ko'd or Ko' all current heavyweights himself. in other words no matter hu he fights in this era, it wont go to points

IMO, Dempsey is made for this more modern era. He'd do very, very well if he weighed about 205. He'd be an amazing CW.

With guys like Peter, Valuev, and Thompson around I see Dempsey doing great, becomes Undisputed IMO.

He'd be very good...except the Klitschkos he would beat most(if not all) of the rest.

Given that Dempsey has some of the best head movement in the divisions history (THE best for me), has huge punches, has very fast hands, why do people think he would struggle with Wlad? Do people think Tyson would struggle with Wlad too?

He would take out the Klits too, especially Wlad. They would have a terrible time with Dempsey, who was very aggressive but with lots of head movement and speed.

Tyson would have zero problems against a robot like Wlad, his glass chin and lack of mental toughness when things rough, would give Tyson just another 1st round KO.

Dempsey would fare pretty well, while he would be looked at as a smaller Heavyweight, his punch was anything but light. If guys like Bryd 6'0 220, can hold a belt for nearly 3 years, Iggy at 6'1 around 220 can manage to pick up a belt, I cant see why alot better fighter in Dempsey cant. He would have a field day with most of the **** Heavyweights of today, only Vitali I would favor over him.

Dempsey would destroy everyone in the division. Especially Wlad.

based on what you have read or the black and white films where he bounces around because the speed is never accurate? hahaha
impossible to compare since no one has ever seen dempsey fight except for the goofy clips that do exist

its like saying the 1972 undefeated miami dolphins who average guy barley weighed 240 pounds would dominate today....i doubt they could this years winless detroit lions....just based on pure size of and strength of the modern athlete

Mike would struggle with Wlad's older, bigger, meaner, badder brother.
