He knows he lost and I'm sure he'll the first to ask for an immediate rematch...he's cool like that !! He also knows that he let the fight slip away by not sticking to the game plan and he wanted to put on a good show for the home crowd but most importantly the SHOWTIME telecast... If he fights in the States for a rematch, he will win a very technical UD, stick and move....with constant movement.
It will corrode him morally, if he doesn't get a chance to prove he is better and if he doesn't take that chance. Bute wasn't sure whether the decision at the end was fair. His team tried to console him saying: "It doesn't matter, you won, you're still the champ!", etc., but he wasn't sure. The most important thing about a fighter is his morale. To perform as well as he can, he needs to believe that he is good and fair, that he deserves to win and get credit for his wins; that he is the real champ. Unless he believes that, he doesn't give his all in training and during fights, and he loses anyway. If InterBox want to make sure they don't destroy Bute where it really matters - by breaking his morale and his heart - they need to give him the chance to fight an immediate rematch against Andrade. If Bute wants to be a whole man again, and to become the best he can be, he needs to demand such a rematch from Interbox and take it once offered. :deal
He'll be back. His stock took a hit tonight but that's what a lot of people expected considering Andrade was his toughest opponent yet.
