Prime for prime, who wins these match-ups ?

    Arguello v Mosley (135)

    Pryor v Pacman (140)

    Hearns v Williams (147)

    Duran v Wright (154)

    Leonard v Hopkins (160)

    1. Argullo if it is fought clean and Mosley was denied his juice.
    2. Pacman unless Pryor gets another "mixed" drink.
    3. Duran beats Winky like he owed him $$$
    4. Leonard via hit and run, last 30 second razzle dazzle flurry combos

...SRL still would give Hopkins fits.

    Over 15

Arguello UD (over 12 I may favour Mosley)
    Pryor TKO
    Hearns KO
    Duran SD
    Hopkins UD

Arguello v Mosley (135)---Arguello PTS in a hard-fought FOTY candidate

    Pryor v Pacman (140)---Pryor stoppage

Hearns v Williams (147)---Tommy wins a UD. Williams has a very good chin and has the workrate to botehr Tommy. But Hearns was a master boxer and would tag Williams fairly easily.

Duran v Wright (154)---Duran UD. Possible stoppage if he can get past those massive pillows. Winky is durable but the Duran that fought Davey Moore could stop him.

Leonard v Hopkins (160)---At 160, if B-Hop brings his A-Game he can win. If Hagler had stayed southpaw from the start Leonard might not be a noted MW now.

I honestly think Arguello would deal with Mosley. Would like to see how people think Mosley would beat Arguello, which I'm not disputing, Shane was a beast at 135.

    Mosley by UD.

    Pryor by KO.

Hearns by KO. Straight right down the pipe, anyone? Williams loves activity, and that will leave him open to one of the most devastating punchers in history.

Duran vs. Wright... difficult to call since they both had good and bad days, but I would lean toward Wright at this weight. Still, if we had a "Duran is unstoppable" day, he could win it also.

Hopkins by UD. Leonard's best weight simply was not Middleweight, and the Leonard that beat the faded Hagler wouldn't get past a prime Hopkins.

Question, when was Hopkins at his prime? It seems to me that Hopkins got better with age. Hopkins had trouble with speed. RJJ and Joe were too fast for him and I believe even though SRL was not a true MW, he would beat Hopkins via decision.

That was weird how that post did not end up in the box where it should have. It was suppose to connect with the Hopkins question. I meamt bacl then.

Seeing as how overrated Paul Williams currently is... I'm pretty shocked that so far none has picked him over Hearns.
