Spong is an accomplished Kickboxer & Muay Thai and he's 2-0 in MMA so far. He has said in the past that he would love to come over to Boxing. Plus he has an Orthodox style. Do, you think he could be a Boxing champion. Why or why not? Plus he's a Kickboxing and Muay Thai champion. DISCUSS
Saki, Spong and Ghita would all do relatively well. I don't know about champions though. Looks like Spong is trying to sign with the UFC though :huh
Nieky Holzken also does pro boxing next to K1/Kickboxing, is 5-0. Tyron Spong said in a interview he wanted to become pro boxer, but more kickboxers are telling that. Badr Hari a couple of years ago trained in the USA, because he wanted to become a boxing heavyweight champion. Not long after that, he got into jail and is now back in kickboxing. From kickboxing to boxing is a difficult step. As much as I respect Tyrone, I don't think he'll make it in boxing.
I think Mike Bernardo is one of those guys I can name who did pretty well from KB to Boxing.Randall Texx Cobb did decent as well, wasn't Manny Pacquoi a thai boxer at one point?
Like most of these MMA types he probably has a glass jaw and would get starched as soon as he took a shot from a fighter who knows how to throw a real punch! :yep
You called Ernesto Hoost an "MMA type" too. You must be a sheltered ghetto american who has never been exposed to kickboxing. As far as kickboxers with good boxing Artem Levin is very good.
