Boxers aren't the only fighters that know how to punch, Thai Boxers have many fighters that have real knockout punching ability, one of the best known is
    Coban Lookchaomaesaitong 250 - 20 - 0 ( 90 KO's )

You can see him here fighting another great puncher and rival,
    Dutch Legend Ramon Dekker 186 - 35 -2 ( 95 KO's ) back in 1992 in Thailand

And here again in ( Black ) against Samransak Muangsurin not sure of the date probably 1988

There have been many Muay Thai fighters from thailand that crossed over and won western boxing world championship in very few fights, Samart Payakaroon knocked out Lupe Pintor (64 fights at the time ) in only his 15th fight to win the WBC super bantamweight title in 1986 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZ4W6jBiQMM

And Saensak Muangsurin beat Perico Fernandez ( 46 fights at the time ) to win the WBC light-welterweight title in only his 3rd fight, Somrak Kamsing won the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Gold medal ahead of Floyd Mayweather ( Bronze )

    and many many others also

Don't waste your time giving Zakman any perspective on Muay Thai - he thinks it is MMA. :patsch

Spong would not do any good in boxing.
