Different styles but usyk isn't as easy to hit as a lot of people on here seem to think! Just head movement alone at times is redicualas imagine trying to punch a wobble head toy that hits back from every angle. Definitely harder to clip then fury but couldn't see him eating the rights fury took in R1&2. Would outbox wilder for days but if the big right landed good night

Power isnt everything, Usyk outclasses Wilder in every other department.

It's like a lot of fights with Deontay. He can be out boxed but has the equalizer right hand. Usyk's smaller, but an elite class southpaw with skills, is a better boxer by far, won't get hit flush with too much imo and might punch hard enough to deter DW. He can get the win.

Usky pops Wilder with the straight left and quickly side steps Wilders attempt to counter. Usyk counters Wilder. Wilder swings and misses by a mile. The fight goes like this for the entire fight. Commentator can just record the first round and replay the next 11. Some thing over and over.

Haye fell short against Wlad let's be fair. Adamek started out at a LHW. Usyk is more comparable to Holyfield in that he was a large CW with an elite skillset that will more than likely equip him for the higher weights.

You're not being unfair here though. Just remaining skeptical until Usyk shows more at HW. But that aside. If Wilder/Usyk happened in a few months(hypothetically) I would strongly advise going with Usyk. I think we've seen enough with how Wilder struggled with Southpaws like Szpilka and Ortiz both of whom are nowhere near as skilled as Usyk to give him th benefit of the doubt here. Remember Szpilka was a smaller HW, hell he dropped to CW recently. Those guys were able to stay clear of Wilders power for a long time despite being way less skilled. Wilder struggles with better boxers. a big bit limited puncher will usually come up short against a far more skilled technician. And while he'll have a size advantage it's not a David vs. Goliath matchup. Usyk is a solid 6'3 with an identical reach to Ortiz. I think he has enough physical attributes to not be hopelessly overwhelmed by Wilders physical advantages.

Still too early to decide. Need to see how good Usyk really is at Heavyweight before making a proper prediction. Right now I'm picking Wilder by KO.

China chin?, based on what?. He has been down only twice his entire career and was stopped on his feet in his only loss. Idiot.

Usyk is technicaly the best boxer in heavyweight, but he is not a natural heavyweight. He is still a big question mark. How Heavy Is He Now? How fast is it and how hard is it hitting? Can he survive heavy bombs?

If Spilka could last 9 rounds with Wilder, I think Usyk beats him decisively by 9 to 3.

Wilder avoids the best boxers from Europe. Well, he's never fought Klitchko, Joshua, Whyte, Povetkin, Pulev, Chisora ... They are in the Top 10 allways, and he's a champion for years. How is that possible?

Don't get your hopes up, go watch the Senad Gashi fight, that'll give you an indication of how the Usyk match is going to go. Gashi arguably did enough to deserve a draw, and he's basically a heavyweight version of David Lemieux without the power who chose to give being a slick southpaw a try just for that match.

It took Wilder 9 rounds to find an opening on and KO Szpilka, it took him losing almost 15 or 16 rounds to Ortiz before finally getting to him twice. Neither one of these Southpaws are all that nimble on their feet, and not all that elusive, hell, Hammer was landing plenty on Luis. So do you honestly think that a faster, more elusive, more nimble version of Szpilka with a better chin, heavier hands, better footwork, that's near impossible to land clean on when he's being extra defensive... can't last 4 more rounds than Artur did?

Ortiz lasted beyond mid point , why or rather how would Wilder hope to keep up with a better mover , quicker smarter southpaw in his prime ? To much attention is on Usyk but what about how Wilder has to win ?Im thinking southpaw is all wrong for Wilder and we’re talking about Usyk here not Ortiz or Szpilka .

Should be a UD for Usyk , to skilled .

If Bootleg D has to run the same gauntlet Usyk did in the WSB against those SHW behemoths I see plenty of this happening

Majidov, Joyce, Nistor all spark him and the fact that he's employing Usyk's sloppy seconds Fa as a sparring partner says it all. I bet Fa probably sparked him during camp for the Fury fight.
