How would ward fight with Joe Cortez reffing?

I think Hatton's chin was average. Against Pacquiao he made everything 10 times worse by sticking his chin up in the air and lunging forward making Pacquiao's blows that much harder. Urango landed a decent uppercut in the fight. Can't remember which round.

And another question on this thread should be how would Ward fight if he were English and Dave Parriss were reffing,because considering the horrible(and biased) performance he put in when Hatton fought Tszyu(amongst other horrible performances like Rogan-Sexton 1 or Barrera-Khan)Ward could have been even dirtier against an equally dirty fighter like Bika and Parriss would have stood around doing **** all about it.

The Headbutts are one part of a larger problem I have with Ward and thats his beleif that he has somehow earnt the right to always have his fights at home( does he beleive he needs the questionable tactics ? ).

McClellan is a totally different subject ( for one thing the ref was french wasnt he and the french and the english hate each other )

I dunno why the ref didnt stop that fight , I guess he'd heard Benn had remarkable recovery powers and although was ruff and tuff in that fight I dont think thats what casued poor McClellans condition.

You need to calm down. I have admitted already that Hatton was wrong and the low blow should have got him DQ'd. I also realise now that it would be pretty impossible for Tsyzu to do anything else but fight back with dodgy tactics.

 

It depends on who the fighter was with Cortez, as it has been said, he let Hopkins break the rules many times.

Cortez is a terrible ref. Remember H Soto vs F Lorenzo?
Remember how Cortez was breaking Hatton vs Maywheather within half a second only to allow Hopkins to hold continuously and use the head with very little said against Calzaghe.
I guess it would depend on who Ward is fighting and who Cortez sides with. If he is siding with Ward the opponent will be held, held and hit, tied up and have the head used on them. If Cortez is against Ward, Ward will have a very hard fight being told to break before he has had a chance to grab
