Im not so sure he stops him but Mike would win after some early trouble.

Even a coked up and fading Pea was still pretty good at 154 and I actually think Vasquez was maybe even a bit better equipped to stop a fighter like Pea.

He was bull strong and rough, awkward and well rounded like a lot of those Argentinians are..He probably hit at least as hard Mike did.

I tend to think Mike would be a bit to measured and technical in his attack early on, making it more of a boxing match giving Pea opportunity for a few rounds to frustrate him in but down the track McCallum's size and body punching would have Pernell in total survival mode, he may even have to take a knee to give himself a breather.

Mike had a slow start against other technical sound boxers in McCrory and Curry...and was completely buffuddled by the constant movement of Kalambay.

I dont think Pea has the physical ability at the weight nor the stamina to upset Mike but I do feel he goes the rounds over the 12 and keeps the scorecards relatively close even though he will be taking a whipping towards the end there.

McCallum's reach will kill Pea. Whitaker could survive if he just wanted to play it cautious, but if he tries to win the fight (which he probably will), Mike probably catches him and stops him at some point.

He dominated Vasquez but Vasquez was made to order for Sweet Pea. Vasquez was strong and durable but he was also predictable, slow, and easy to hit... how many round did he win btw?

McCallum is 100 times better than Vasquez though! McCallum by decision. I see Whitacker going down at least once. Whitacker wins a couple of rounds, maybe even 3 or 4.
