grouche, you're not very bright, but I'm patient. Play the video I posted. Use your hand to cover Ail's opponent. Watch Ali's hand speed. That's what I want you to focus on. It's unrelated to the skill level of his opponent. Do you get the concept?
Wlad certainly seems far faster than Foreman in both foot and hand. He has tremendous power. He has boxing IQ. He fights in a real crappy manner but defensively excellent. And in the fight with Haye, he almost never surrendered center ring. He has Emmanuel Steward. Ali's weakness would be men that made him move forward. Ali is also a headhunter first and foremost. If you look at some of his fights, if you throw a jab at the same time he throws his jab, his focus starts to meander and his rhythm is ruined a bit. That's a weakness Wlad could challenge. With Wlad, Ali would get someone who is larger than him, hits harder than him, has fast handspeed, has physical strength to hug you to exhaustion, has a great defense, and now, his chin looks a lot more solid after taking Haye's punching. Wlad doesn't panic as he did before. I think Vitali would be a better match against Ali just because of his high workrate and fighting spirit, but Wlad has the style and physique that would be particularly difficult to counter, yes, even by Ali. This is a hard fight.
I guess that means I won. The first thing I look at when assessing "IF" a fighter is a true ATG is: #1, Did they have any suspicious fights.....
PRIME Ali's hands are a gazillion times faster than Wlads. Ali could dance for 15 rounds, take a great shot, slice you up with his jab, and talk to you while he did it. Ali would've broken Wlads confidence as soon as the fight was signed and backed it up.
I am bright enough my friend inside the ring too. With about 50 am fights under the belt I can educate you on many a point in boxing. But, at this point I will leave you alone holding you own opinion, as the last time I stepped in the ring was about 25 years ago.
Yas that fight was very suspicious. But not on Wladimir part. Unlike many of Ali fights Wladimir lost that one if you recall. There's nothing in Wladimir's career that smacks of "fix" or payoff.... The same can not be said for Ali...........
Ali would beat him by a shut-out on the scorecards. Please stop comparing the Klitschko brothers to real HW champions. They are too slow and mechanical to beat any of the great HW champs like Ali, Tyson, Marciano, Louis, Charles.
