How would you advise 1904 Jeffries vs. prime Dempsey/Marciano/Frazier?

Like it or not, Sharkey is the swarmer Jeffries met, it then follows he is the yardstick by which we measure Jeffries effectiveness against this type of style . Sharkey would start the decided underdog against Dempsey,Frazier and ,Marciano, in fact many would say he would be stopped by all three, imo. Fitz wrecked him twice with body shots, all three of them were very good body punchers.

Jeffries would have a size advantage over the three [no change there then:yep], they would have modern infighting skills that Jeffries had never experienced. If you want to make a case that Jeffries beats them ,do so.

Frazier's best weight imo, would be when he fought the fight of his life in FOTC,against Ali, in the FOTC, he scaled 205.5lbs for that fight that is NOT under 15lbs more than Sharkey's 183lbs it is 22.5lbs more,a considerable difference.
Sharkey scaled 178lbs for a fight against Choynski,a month before he fought Jeffries in their first fight, and 177lbs for a fight against Ruhlin a month after, it follows that he was therefore most probably 178lbs for the first fight with Jeffries, who sported a 17lbs advantage.yet he went the 20rds distance.
Have a look how these light heavyweights fared against Dempsey,[Carpentier 4 rds ]. Frazier,[Foster 2 rds ],and Marciano[Mathews 2 rds].

Honestly I respect Jeffries strength and ability for the time but I think Dempsey was a tier above what had been seen till then and a quick-fisted-tough a nails big man like Dempsey would have taken a tough Jeffires out much like he did Willard but may have taken a rd or few more. As far as Marciano and Frazier a much different and better level of swarmer than Tom Sharkey, Jeffries strength and durability may keep him alive for 10rds but he would be stopped by Marciano and Frazier may bust him up with the hook for a TKO...I love Jim Jeffries but who did he fight at that level...IMO Dempsey raised the level of the heavyweight game and from him to Louis there were few in between.
