slip the jab and work the body and come upstairs. Aggression will work. Offset his rhythm. Same thing you do with most tall guys like Hearns or Nunn or Lewis. You cannot fight them at their range or they pick their opponent apart.

Yeah, that is true about the lateral movement but if Pauls camp knows anything, That's what they would work on.

but it's hard being this preying mantis figure fighting beatles.

That was also a Williams that we hadnt seen up to that point or since. I think that William was off his game that night, as we saw in the rematch. Also he wasnt beat soundly. He lost a close but clear dec.

A defensive wizard or an excellent boxer would take him to school. Mayweather comes to mind.

It was close enough that two rounds would have made it a draw with williams winning the third card.

It was Quintana that made him look off of his game. Paul Williams was the aggressor during the first fight and Quintana made him pay for overcommiting.

During the second fight, Quintana was the aggressor and paul just sat in the middle of the ring and waited for him...he fought a much smarter fight and made Carlos pay for his mistakes.

Why didn't Paul give Quintana the rubber match?

It was two very different fights with two very different fight plans for each fighter. I would love to see a rubber match...I think it would answer a lot of questions about Paul Williams.

Also, why is he not calling out anyone at 154? Don't you think Sergio Martinez, James Kirkland, and Daniel Santos could give Paul Williams trouble?

Williams is hit alot by left hook's.
And is constatly getting & receiving flush shot's in every fight I've seen him in.
The guy has a great beard no doubt, But them big boys @ 160/168lbs don't play.
(At least the banger's don't, AKA Pavlik & AA)

Whoever will be willing t stick their hand into the lawnmower will have the best chance.
