2008 was clearly the year of the upset

I say 2009 so far is a year of exposed prospects, guys who we were hyping as the future of the sport dont look like they will have much of a future in this sport anymore.

    Presscot - Losing tonight
    Angulo - Losing to Cintron
    Duddy -
    Ortiz - Quitting
Kirkland - See you in a few years

    Most likely to be next....

Bernabe Concepcion loses a decision to Luevano

    how would you define 2009?

It's hard to say when u still have close to six months and have the Haye-Klitschko fight-JMM-Floydd and SMW tournament. So far early on it's been good-however, summer has been stagnant and disappointing with all the fights beeing cancelled-hopefully the fall makes up for it

    Disappointing.

In particular the fact that Mosley can't get a ****en fight! Pac turned into a belladonna. Marquez and Mayweather are playing footsie instead of fighting. Margarito is out of the picture. No one takes on Williams. Cotto is...well, Cotto is up in the air. Darchynian is out. Juanma has been the only thing impressing me all year.

Very good...then disappointing...then good again. 2009 has been an up and down year, but mostly good and it looks to be good to closing out the year. Also, horrible year to be a prospect lol.

For me it was the year the Super Six was launched. The best thing to happen in boxing for ..... ages.

For me the year has been utterly forgettable so far...

However the year doesn't really start until mid October.... Super Six. Safes the whole year and more...

So in total it will be a great year. Vitaly-Arreola is also a good fight. As is Cotto-Pac.
