Not at all. I don't get offended or bothered by trolls and little kids and their hate for a fighter. I actually was laughing reading that comment. It was a pathetic middle schooler insult. Why are you sticking up for your boyfriend? Can't he do it himself or is he too busy doing homework? Lady Girl, is that true? You're a female? Trolling on a boxing message board? I hope it's not true cause you must be 200-250+.

One of HBO's commentators (I think Merchant) once called it "Aggressive Chess". I'll go with that.

    Adaptive, intelligent, cagey.

He is a pure boxer with a lot of old-school and somewhat underhand tactics.

He knows too much for his own good, and has the hand speed and athleticism to pull it off.

    You should just stopped there.

    Really? Like who?

Pac has turned down the fight mulitple times now over testing and money splits. Margarito lacked the 'skill' (as you point out below about the 'power' fighters below) to bother Mayweather at all. The Punisher went out and lost to Carlos Quintana coming off his biggest win.

So again, who are all these 'Pac type fighters' that Mayweather avoided?

And not putting your chin in harm's way to be tested is kind of the point of, you know, DEFENSE, which is Mayweather's specialty. Using your logic, B Hop's chin has never been tested either.

Your point? Mayweather sits down on plenty of shots. Ask Mosley, Cotto, Hatton, Canelo, Chico, Gatti, etc.

What kind of nonsense is this? NO fighter likes getting hit, that's why ALL of them fight with their guards up.

Juat because PBF doesn't spend his time in the ring engaged in 'take-two-to-give-one' type of activity doesn't mean he avoids certain fighters.

Classic 'No True Scotsman' logic here. When faced with actual examples of the very type of fighter who cuold hurt Mayweather, you just dismiss them as not REAL fighters because of age or skill level.

    This is too rich.

You question Hatton and Cotto's skill level, yet both of those fighters will arguably make the Boxing HOF. So again, who are all these prime, fighters with at least HOF level skill sets that could also hurt Mayweather that he was supposed to fight?

    Again, I'll wait.

This is just hating right here. Man, you need to get off that Duran isht you keep pushing. SRL tapped that arse to the point of making Duran want to stop competing. Nobody put a gun to Duran's head and told him to take that rematch.

i don't believe i suggested that. i will say that fatigue sets in really quick when a fighter misses a bunch of punches. floyd brings just enough pressure and precision to cause a fighter to worry. that only compounds the problems that lead to more fatigue. usually from that point you notice most guys become content with just trying to survive. the last guy that floyd faced that was willing to go out on his shield was cotto. he made floyd miss the most and he also landed the most of any floyd opponent.
