Do you think Pacquiao took too much punishment, if yes... how do you think Pacquiao will fare against the more accurate but ultimately less relentless Floyd Mayweather jr.

The win was good, but lets be honest, marg is a walking punching bag, all people kept talking about is size, size this size that, they fail to realise that size ain't **** when you have no skill behind it, and someone like pac who is an elite boxer will eat guys like that for breakfast.

I was so happy to see that scum bag get his ass whooping. The ****ing cheat.:thumbsup

Accuracy and activity don't eve begin to describe the massive difference between Floyd and Margarito. You really shouldn't try to gl-..Ah, you know what? Whatever. Here's a picture of this:

Pacquiao's win over Margarito was a Great accomplishment, However Margarito was able to land most of his power punches. Upon this reality I can deduct that Pacquiao has a great chin and that Mayweather will have a hard time keeping Pacquiao away... which will result in a ATG brawl.

I also thought I was aazing How Pacquiao assimilated Margarito's punishent when the bigger and stronger Cotto gave up-(this assuming there where no plaster of paris on Margo's gloves)

    cheers... A newbie

it was a good win against a top welter. A good test to see if he could conquer 154. Seems like Pac didnt like it there considering he won.

I am just saying... Margarito gave Pacquiao the same punishment that he gave Cotto, and Cotto being a bigger and presumably stronger opponent than Pacquiao, gave-up (this assuming no plaster of pairs where used), while Pacquiao was able to withstand the punishment and fight back... will this make a difference in a fight with Mosley and eventually Floyd Mayweather jr.

No way did he take as much punishment.. Did you even see the Margo-Cotto fight? Manny took some shots but he was in and out and was always on the move.. . For the most part Margo didnt land more than 1 or 2 punches at a time.. He only occasionly landed clean punches on Pac.
Against Cotto he was teeing off on him in the late rounds.

I saw round #5 a few times over and I think Margarito won that round and that Pacquiao took and assimilated most of Margaritos power punches... the same uppercuts that made Cotto take a knee in the #11 round.
