How would you guys Fancy a Berto Alexander showdown

Not sure if Alexander could handle that powerful right hand from Berto

Alexander hasnt handled adversity super well

if Alexander can move and maker Berto miss he can tire Berto out and maybe win if it doesnt become a war

Alexander was very sharp vs Maidana and if he is sharp here he can win

I favor Berto

 

and i dont know how any person 140-147 who can handle that uppercut from alexander.


they both got pop

and they both had a common opponent which is urango.



urango had zero respect for bertos power the whole danm fight.

and alexander lifted urango off his feet literally.


actually in terms of power im giving the edge to alexander.

but they both have different styles of fighting so this is a tossup for me.

 

Terrible fight. Theyd spend most of the fight looking at eachother and throwing shoe shi e punches and screamin like ******s. Alexander and Berto should be matched against people that make them fight.

 

Alexander beats Berto IMO for one reason. Berto fights flat footed.

He's also carrying too much muscle up top, his stamina would improve if he stripped some bulk off of his sholders.

 

has potential to be a good fight, or a horribly ugly fight. . both are clinchers. . .

 

Alexander should fight a B level BIG Welterweight next IMO. He looked great beating Maidana, but Maidana was another 140lber who didn't carry the weight well.

Alexander's people would do well to make sure that he really can handle the size and strength of WW's first. Randall Bailey would be perfect if he wasn't fighting Mike Jones.

I think alexander fighting berto is not a bad idea.

i mean even though urango aint a 147 lber stopping him is an accomplishment.

expecially in the fashion alexander did it in.


I think he can take some of the best welterweights out there.


berto couldnt stop urango. like i said urango didnt have no respect for berto.




Alexander vs berto sounds fair.

 

Since stopping Urango, Alexander has looked awful against Kotelnik (He struggled with Kotelnik's size), Bradley and Lucas Matthysee (He struggled with Matthysee's size) he then beat Maidana who was out of his comfort zone.

To be fair, Berto isn't as strong as people think, so you're probably right. :good Victor Ortiz would be a different matter.
