If A) Bute defeats the super 6 champion easily afterwards and B) knowing that the tournament should've prvided us the best SMW and C) that Bute's victory would've proven that he was undeservingly left out... It's just a hypothesis, so don't asume this 'll never happen or other blabla :good
It's possible that your scenario happens. Of course it could be argued that the supersixers beat the **** out of each other while Bute feasted on Quebecian cabdrivers.
would just legitimise both the tourney and more importantly, bute. the winner of the s6 is the top 2 active smw's and a unification for the wba, wbc and the ring belt. the winner of this is the king of the division. if bute beats the winner he then becomes the king of the division legitimising himself in the process. however a better thing would always be a super 4 with all 4 belt holders. every division should do it imo aside from hw, mw and flyweight.
Not much of an legitimate argument could be made in counterpoint to this.....except by the truly dumb.
We should just be glad the super six took place. Apart from people leaving the tourney for different reasons we got alot of good fights.
