How would you manage Dunne now?

I mean i'm sure he can throw a good punch when he wants, after all he is a pro boxer, but you just have to look at his record (like Dunnes) and know that he's not exactly a power puncher.....

 

Munroe can't punch his way out of a soggy bag, especially beyond domestic level fighters. His accuracy is also bordering on woeful, that plays a part in his seeming lack of power.

 

Trust me mate they are alot of posters on the site bigging up Dunne to be some World Beater, saying bring em all on! Listen Im not saying Dunne isnt a good fighter but if you can see past your love and loyalty to Dunne you know Munroe is a tough fight for him. Like I said I got respect for the guy he has heart. Poon is no mug but he actually destroyed Dunne, he made Dunne look very ordinary.

 

Nothing wrong with saying bring em all on, thats why he's a boxer to be tested by the best, but absolutely nobody was saying he would hammer a Lopez or a Vazquez or a caballero, and I think everybody said that Poon was going to be a very tough fight so your talking ****. I think your mixing up the word hype with the word interest.....
Yeah i agree poon destroyed Dunne, nobody is debating that.

By the way, as i've said before i'm not a massive Dunne fan. I've always seen his weaknesses and known they would cost him but I will defend him when people are saying he was rubbish or when people are saying he was all hype when in truth there was no hype around him just interest. Its like in the build up to a hatton fight, these boards go mental with threads about hatton. I dont go around saying Hatton is all hype because I can distinguish between general interest and hype...
As i said earlier the reason people think he would still beat munroe is because they have no major reason to believe otherwise.
