Thing is, he needs to fight live opposition or he'll come unstuck when he steps up again just like the first Thompson fight. How much confidence do you get from beating someone not expected to win?

Not yet anyway, though I think it might happen in future. I remember them both as amateurs, and I thINK Dave showed more vulnerability than Anthony. Wasn't he stopped by Camarrelle? I know some say he beat AJ,though I think AJ just edged it,but he never looked like stopping him. Course this really would mean nothing if they WERE to be matched up. Two big, powerful heavyweights. For me,the difference is AJ can improve, and of course you make a good point about Dave having Thompson in real trouble. But 18 months down the line,my money would probably be on Joshua.

There you go. I can see Joshua stopping Price within two minutes if they trade but Price doesn't even need to land particularly clean to do the business.

I saw Camarelle out box Joshua pretty easily, yet Camarelle was cheated...................Price needs to fight ofter, even once per month against easy competition, then step it up in 2016. Price should get Vladimir's trainer to train him, Banks. Prices would become a much better fighter, esp. on defense.............

Put him in with Lucas Browne. No amateur experience and overrated as a pro. He can whack a bit but plods forward and is very slow.

Great fight. Not sure David couldn't win.50 50 IMO. But absolutely positive Browne would fight but Daves people would avoid it.
