He would beat Aydin and Senchenko but if Maidana beats Lopez in June i would slightly favor Maidana against Brook.
I was thinking Maidana would lose and thats why Brook fights him. Aydin/Jones II Senchenko/Diaz Maidana/Lopez
Lopez always comes to fight, maidana does well vs those type of fighters. I believe Maidana has more power and that will be the difference in a great fight where both beat the hell out of each other.
Been a bit of talk about you not answering questions,Rob.What about this fight?I think its far better than the Aydin,Jones 2{which will never happen}Diaz and Maidana suggestions.Van Heerden better also.I think Hearn is going to aim for a shot at a world title in Sheffield now.Probably next year, definitely not this one now.
I don't even think we'l get that. He's not fighting 3 times this year at all. I don't care what anyone says. He has never done that. No reason to believe that either. This is Kell Brook. Everything takes 50 years, and it's a shame because he's good, or he could be. I don't even think it will be Aydin in July. It will be some domestic/euro bum or of its an American then someone nowhere near contention who he can blast out easily. Then in September (probably not) i think the 'big fight/good test' they are alleging will happen, is gunna end up being someone like Jesus Soto Karass, Chris Van Heerden or Julio Diaz.. Depressing I know. Following that they won't be getting Broner so they are likely to start calling Khan out again. Which Amor may or may not duck depending on if he's been knocked the **** out by someone else before then. Either way its all gunna take another 50 ****ing years for Kell Brooks career to get interesting again. And I'm a fan of his (who is losing patience) .
Didn't know Jones moving up,not heard about it but not surprised as he looks a big lad.Why is Aydin a good opponent? He was thrashed by Soto Karrass and didn't look good.Jones 2 won't happen but he didn't look good against the Irish kid and he's already lost to Brook.Senchenko looked good against Hatton but wouldn't a few years ago,and was well beaten in his backyard by Paulie.Maidana IMO is overrated, beaten by Khan, scraped past Morales but wouldn't a few years ago. Also, has he moved up a weight?Diaz has just been beaten by Khan. This is not moving forward. What do you say?
Yes,but his previous hardest test, only in my opinion,is Matt Hatton. Also,is Maidana a welterweight now?
Oli,I agree with nearly all of that, except I think Van Heerden not a bad opponent, but he aint coming to Hull, and Id be surprised if Kell fought there in July as well.I think Brook is capable of going to South Africa and doing what Matt didn't,probably stop him.Theres been a lot of talk of him fighting people Amirs already beaten, and other recent losers.Maybe for his next one,but the one after that should be a live one,I think.Mainly I relate to your last sentence.
Yep Maidana beat Karras at 147 and is now fighting Josesito Lopez June 8th at 147. Maidana is a whole different animal to Matthew Hatton, like comparing a butterfly with a shark. I would say Carson Jones has been Brook's best win as at least he could punch.
Thanks for that, didn't know. But I do seriously think Matt at his best would have given Jones a good argument, probably not now.I know Maidana a dangerous man,if a bit limited.
