How would you rank Usyk among the greats if he goes to heavyweight and becomes champion

I'd be chuffed but for him to be an ATG he's got a way to go.

 

It's a massive "if". But if he managed it, beating super-heavies like Joshua whilst doing it recognisably as the Usyk we've grown to love, he'd deserve all the accolades he got.

 

Oh he’ll be ranked among the ATG’s for sure and if he reigns for a while after getting the belts... we’re talking top 10 ATG status. It’s WELL within Usyk’s grasp to do so and that’s what worries the **** out of certain people on here Lol

To answer the question it of course depends on who he beats. If he were to beat some paper champs at HW it won't be as big of deal. But if he reigns as the man at HW he will become a bona fide ATG.

So if he moves up to heavyweight next year as expected, he will be 32 years of age. He could face the likes of Whyte, Chisora, Bryan, Miller, Parker, Fury, Wilder, Joshua. If he beats them all and any other leading contenders he will have an impressive resume......but how long he could reign depends on what route he takes and i would like to see him stamp his authority in the heavyweight division for a good few years before ATG status can be mwmtioned. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on against the big boys

 

Is it even possible anymore? Nobody fights enough and though the current elite tier of heavies is well matched and exciting enough to be alot of fun, I question if any of them are actually good enough to talk about alongside some of the established ATGs.

 

If he beats one of the big 3 at hw he's going in the HOF
