if he wins the super six and keeps his zero, then moves up to light heavy weight and beats dawson?
no jokes, i know it's almost impossible, but what if?

    Impossible how?

He would put Dawson to sleep if he lands with either hand hard.

He would rank among the 20 best super middleweights in the history of the division ... there's no way that he ranks higher than:

    Lenard
    Hearns
    Calzaghe
    Jones
    Ottke
    Toney
    Benn
    Collins
    Eubank

    .... I can keep going !!

If that all happens, I'd rate him just as high, if not higher than Calzaghe. As far as all time, at super middle he'd definitely be in the top 10, maybe top 5, depends on what he does after Dawson for a light heavy ATG rating.

I don't respect Ottke that much but I can tell you this ... Abraham will never rank above Ottke.

if he really would do this, the he would be a middleweight champion, undisputed super middle weight champion and undisputed light heavy weight champion, and of course unbeaten, i would rank him at the top three, leonard, calzaghe(say what you want, this guy was an all time great) and then abraham

    Considering he beat Dawson ... I still wouldn't rank him top 200 all-time ...

Explain how he would be 'undisputed light heavyweight champion'?

Edit: or undisputed SMW champion, come to that....

I think I'd put him more like 5-6th on the list

i don't consider hopkins, cause he will be retired in 2011, and dawson is by far the best light heavy, in my opinion.

20 best SMW's? I think you can probably be a little less vague than that, given he'd have Taylor, Dirrell, Froch + 2 of Taylor, Dirrell, Froch again or Ward & Kessler on his resumé.

Tell me, who did Ottke beat that ranks him higher than that? Who did Hearns or Leonard beat at 168 that ranks them higher then that? Who did Collins as a matter of fact beat other than gun-shy past-prime versions Benn & Eubank?

Best in your opinion is nothing to do with it. Dawson doesn't even have one genuine title at LHW (he's currently interim champion for a belt that he wet his pants and ditched when it turned out he'd have to apply for a passport to defend it), nevermind all of them.

Dawson isn't ring champion, so he wouldn't be ring champion at LHW unless Dawson had picked it up by then.

He could be Ring Champion at SMW depending how they ranked the participants in the Super Six against Bute.
