what do you think of him against top middleweights and light heavyweights of the past hed couid probably beat someone like hagler coz he beat the bigger better version in ggg
I don`t fancy his chances against big punching light heavies despite him KO`ing Kov, he struggled to hurt Plant until putting everything into the shot that finished Plant he clearly had problems with Plant`s height and reach, any fighter that can use that type of size well would probably out-boxed Canelo, I feel Hearns would have out-jabbed as would Hagler, Canelo would do better on the inside v Hearns than he would have v Hagler, Robinson ws simply too good for Canelo.
well Canelo has already dealt with somebody who has the speed and chin of Roy Jones in Amir Khan and he KOd Khan brutally, so id have to take Canelo over Jones. Canelo also KTFOd Kirkland so he'd likely KO another southpaw named Joe Calzaghe. he also beat Rocky Fielding and that has to count for something. He'd probably KO Michael Spinks based off just that alone. (I'm just trying to continue the theme of the ****test thread going. Don't hate the player, hate the game)
Hagler was amazing and had a far better jab than Canelo, how would a speedster like Ray Leonard do v Canelo compared to fellow welter Khan?
Canelo would OBLITERATE Michael Spinks. Boxing evolves and Michael Spinks lost to Mike Tyson so he can't beat Canelo anyway. Canelos head movement is the best in history. He beat Saunders so theres no way he can't beat Bumm Nunn. He beat GGG twice and we all know GGG beats every past middleweight champion. GGG would DESTROY Hagler, Toney, RJJ, Monzon, Hopkins etc. They all fall to the deep sea pressure of ATG Triple Gee Canelo is the GOAT middle weight. He beat Jacobs and Jacobs would be a light heavyweight in the 80s and Jacobs also beats every light heavyweight in history. Overrated plumbers like Dwight Muhammad Qawi, Bob Foster, Michael Moorer, etc have no chance against Jacobs. LOL does Canelo even beat Kalambay ?
