What Canelo has done with moving up in weight has been a heck of an accomplishment but lets be real about the competition. They are nowhere near some of the greats people are making fantasy matchup with. His best opponet from 160 and up is GGG which many see it as 1-1 if not 2-0 outright for GGG. Hell, I can't believe I just read a post saying beating Amir Khan would translate to beating prime Roy. Prime Roy would toy with Canelo for 12 rnds if not stop him. Roy was a devastating puncher and he brought that power from different angles. Roy had speed, accuracy, and power.

    George Crowcroft was only joking.

He was just highlighting how silly some people can be.

I can't believe you thought that was serious.

I said beating Rocky Fielding makes you a favourite over Michael Spinks for **** sake

He'd didn't look fat to me when he defeated Iran Barkley.

True but a 38 year old Duran is not going to beat a prime GGG.

As I said, Roy Jones is undoubtedly the P4P most overrated fighter on this forum. Here is him in his prime getting knocked down by a fighter nowhere near the level of Canelo, Golovkin, Beterbiev, etc. You are really telling me that prime Canelo would not be able to beat him? He would break him down and KO him easily.

Clenelo beat Rocky Fielding, so he would definitely beat Rocky Marciano, too.

That was a very bad performance by Jones and he is vastly overrated on this forum.

Marciano v Jones would have looked a little like Fielding v Canelo, just saying.

I really feel Jones looked bad v Del Valle, he really wasn`t as good as people make out, he was exposed in his first fight v Griffin and would not be able to blow out Canelo the same way he KO`d Griffin in that rematch, very quick fighter though and Canelo looked bad v fleet=footed Lara.
