    very good. He can seriously take a punch, and he knows how to hold and not let his opponent know he is hurt too much. He is clever in this way and it has won him fights. Footwork is a weakness of his.

    Was it the eleventh round he took that monster punch from Matthysse that knocked his gumshield out?
    It was a hell of a punch, and I'm not sure there are many at or around his weight that would have taken that and stayed up.

    Anyone who thinks garcia has had a bad chin has absolutely no clue when it comes to boxing. It amazes me people can follow a sport so much they are on a forum for it, and yet know it so little.

    Garcia takes massive punches from massive punchers fight in and fight out... if a fighter with an average chin was hit with some of the shots he was caught with by holt, judah and matthysse his career would have more then a few kd's against him at this point.

    ****, the punch that caught him perfect in the matthysse fight and sent his mouthpiece flying into the second row would have leveled practically every other 140lber out there barring maybe a handful in the world.

    However, chins that take as many flush punches as his does erode and its only a matter of time before he is put down... i expect at 147 his chin will fail him. Which im sure will have every idiot chin checker screaming i told you so.

    But people saying hes shown a bad chin up to this point havent a clue.
