How would you rate Frank Bruno? And should he have been more ferocious in the ring?

Good fighter, he would be a top gatekeeper in any era. He was a notch below elite but he had decent skills and great power and heart.

Funny that these bigger men are either froma bygone era or are never going to reach the top. Never claimed that either Bruno or Lewis had fantastic chins, but neither were ever wobbled by jabs and neither would ever wobble from a jab from that fat slob Arreola. Vitali carried Adamek and took pity on him, Tomasz was lucky Klitschko was in an unusually sparing mood that night. For the record McCall, Rahman, Tyson, Witherspoon, Lewis would all ensure Adamek left the ring on a stretcher.

I'll ask again when has Lewis or Bruno ever been wobbled by a jab?

Please show me when either Lewis or Bruno have been wobbled by a jab off a fighter of the calibre of Arreola.

Getting caught off balance is getting wobbled?

I can show ATG fighters going DOWN off of jabs.

England produces the worst chins in Boxing BAR NONE!

    Live with it.

Bruno wasn't "very similar" to Wlad. They shared only the most superficial of similarities.

He would have done better for sure, but I think the problems that afflicted him in his career would have afflicted him at some point in whatever era he fought.

Bruno's signature win = Oliver McCall

I think the weightlifting allowed him to get heaviness into his punches at the expense of speed and snap, or indeed the ability to throw for very long without gassing. Bruno may have been better off losing some muscle mass, but I don't think it would have affected his style very much. His stiffness and robotic punching style seemed mental rather than physical. Keeping that syle minus the power could have easily been detrimental for him.

I don't know why Bruno felt the need to bulk himself up so much. Maybe he was a gym rat, maybe he felt it improved his power, or maybe he felt it helped his confidence in the ring (being the bigger, more imposing looking guy etc).

Wrong. His best win was blowing out Coetzee many years earlier.

Adamek didn't face the same quality of punchers that Lewis or Bruno faced.
