For THREE DECADES (90's/00's/11's) and STILL not beat an ATG in their prime? 19 years as a pro and not single win over that kinds criteria? Crazy! Who you been fighting, man? Floyd has fought in like FIVE/SIX DIVISIONS! What the hell man?
He has fought in 5 divisions, and won the Lineal Title in each of those (one of only 2 boxers to ever do that) My question is, please name me an ATG during his time as a boxer that is in or around his weight class (within 2 divisions) that he did not, or should have fought?
So like I asked you in the other thread, list the ATG's in their prime that were available that Mayweather didn't fight .
You're right, he was just the WBC Champion and ranked #1 in the division for the whole what 18 months he was in it. Not really the whole point though, but thanks for your response
Well there aren't many ATG's around Floyds weight class during that period. Mosley, ODLH, Pac, maybe Morales if they met at 135. Was hard to catch them at the right time. Maybe only Mosley and Pac he could have caught, maybe Tsyzu if you consider him an ATG.
Mosley and De La Hoya had no interest in fighting Floyd when they were in their prime. They were also multiple weight classes above him. Tszyu also had no interest in fight Mayweather. Morales was never in Mayweather's weight class. I guess they could've fought at 130. That's not a fight anyone was really calling for though. The only guy really is Pacquiao. You could argue for days whose fault that was. At least they're fighting now though.
Pac was prime 2009 and is a atg you can not beat better than that at that time he was regarded as the best fighter in the world and was number 1 p4p
