I think you could make a case that Peterson hasn't really ever been knocked down in his career, against Khan, they were both slips and his knockdowns against both Bradley and his two against Ortiz were both problems with balance more than been hurt imo.

How you guys rate Peterson's chin ??

Peterson has a solid chin, can be put down and hurt, but very tough.

Not hard to hurt but incredibly difficult to stop. The man's heart is his biggest asset.

Agree with this. A tough nut to crack for sure.

having watched a few Peterson fights I have to agree that he has a fairly solid chin, is very tough. because of his upbringing and background he is also a very dangerous fighter and gives the fans their money's worth.

  10. Average.

Decked by both Khan and Bradley.... but he's got good powers of recovery and balls of steel.

The kd's against Bradley and Ortiz weren't balance problems. He was visibly hurt there, especially against Ortiz he seemed like he would be gone.

Imo Peterson has a very average chin at world level. But he has a lot of heart and he knows how to survive after getting hurt.

He strikes me as the type of the fighter that's easier to knock down in the first few rounds, but once he's tasted your hardest shots it's much harder to get him back down there. Think it takes him a few rounds to really get going.

    Bit JMM-esque then.

I reckon Ortiz could have finished him off but he let Lamont off the hook.

Neither were knockdowns against Khan but Bradley and Ortiz both legitimately put him down. But he can take a shot well enough and as mentioned his heart is unquestionable.
