This is going to be a war.....Gabe has proven to be durable but he lacks finess. Lemieux is polished but doesn't seem as durable and falls apart when he gets into tough spots. It's a toss up.... Leaning towards Gabe for the reason that I think he will take Lemieux's power and take him into deep waters.....who knows? I just know the styles make for an interesting fight. Both have a lot to prove.
I dont see how Roasdo is overhyped. the man has 8 losses, ppl just like how he gives it all in the ring. thats not overhyping
there's been 3 or 4 threads on these guys. lemieux has more talent and power. rosado is an ass for accusing triple G of loaded gloves.
Lemiux's power is legit, right up there with GGG. Guy just needs experience, better conditioning, strategy and economy, like the aforementioned fighter.
He was trained from childhood right up to pros by Russ Anber, who is a textbook trainer as far as fundamentals go. Here's a little slice of those two https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTiVNLgwhJY&list=PLkZ0-LyZuwpoQWsBKNjf7XGLfolEwSy_4 P.S. This is 2008 and Lemiux is a little boy. Just goes to show you how young he still is.
rosados last win came 2 1/2 years ago when he gave charles whitaker his 13th loss at light middleweight rosados last win at middleweight was NEVER rosado does win worst tattos award and best thug impression
It was 2003, it was only uploaded in 2008. David turned pro in 2007 at 18, he wasn't 18 in those vids. But still he's only 25 now, he isn't much older than Canelo that we still look at as a kid.
And these are basics that we were taught back in USSR. What I see is beautiful academic fundamentals.
Amber is Libaneese. I think also Lemieux's father is east european if I remember well. Lemieux speaks like 5 or 6 languages (French, English, arabic?, his dad's, and some other).
Makes no difference of all he does is lose when it counts. Lemieux wins easily by TKO probably. But he isnt anything special either.
I recall reading the father is a Lebanese emigre. I don't know where David went wrong with Anber. Its not like he's a proven elite trainer but the man knows his boxing and is the consummate teacher. The only thing I can conclude is that, like many people on this board, Anber and promoter over estimated his talents and readiness and matched him with bad opponents at that particular time. This happens all the time in boxing.
