David wasn't taking camps seriously, partying most of the time and not eating well. The strategy for the Rubio fight was, and I quote, "get him out of there in 4 rounds" (yesterday's interview). The most rounds he had sparred in camp was 7 at a time. Ramsey, the nutritionist they hired before the Torres fight and the newly found maturity of being a father changed David substantially. Can't wait to see the final product tonight.
Rosado by decision, if he doesn’t get cut.. Looks in good shape I think he will be improved under Reid. lemeux is a bit limited and gets found out my guys with a bit of grit and ring iq
It also appeared that Lemieux experienced the double-edged sword of being a power puncher- falling in love with it to the point where you cut corners in other areas because of your belief that the guy will fall down once you touch him. This fight will be a good one to see whether he's developed the other areas of his approach, ala Golovkin or Kovalev, or whether he's still going to turn right back into a one-dimensional slugger when the punches start flying. While it'd be nice to see some development, either way, it'll make for mighty good TV. artytime
Rosado is being brought in as 'the opponent' for Lemieux. I'd give Rosado a good chance of upsetting Lemieux, but, getting robbed...even at home.
Rosado is coming off a DOMINATION of Brian Vera, who yes, has 7 Ls, but has been competitive vs several of the top 154-168 lb fighters and was arguably robbed vs the #3 at SMW.:deal
Yeah i know i was just responding to somebody saying Rosado is overhyped, i dont see how that can happen when he loses alot
never seen Lemieux fight. Rosado is fun to watch, but kind of annoys me other than that. Should be a good s**** tonight
why isnt it on his record? either way, another ass kic.king loss for rosado, people call for jermain taylor to retire after 3 losses, this guy hasnt won in his last 5. does just good enough to get himself killed in the ring :-(
