I had it 7-5 for Fury, but some rounds were close so it was hard to score. The knockdown in the 9th could have made it a draw.

With 1 KD it can't be a draw unless a judge does something that never happens and scores a even round somewhere.

I had Usyk by 1 point , but 3 or 4 rounds were almost toss of a coin.
Think all the cards were fair. SD win by 1 round on 2 cards at the end of the day - could have gone either way, and somebody had to Nick it.

Here’s how I scored the match:

My scoring: Usyk took rounds 1, 3, 8, 9, 10, and 11. He really controlled the pace and made his punches count. The standing eight count in round 9 was naturally pivotal.

Judges' perspective: That same ninth round was key for the judges too. The standing eight count played a big part in swinging the decision in Usyk’s favor.

Stats breakdown: Looking at CompuBox, Usyk showed his strength in the late rounds, particularly with his power punches in rounds 8 through 11.

Overall, I’d say Usyk deserved the win, not just because of that turning point in the ninth, but also because he was consistently better throughout the fight. Even though the standing eight count was decisive for the judges, the stats and round-by-round performance confirm that Usyk had the upper hand in a tightly contested match.

    116-111 Usyk

I can't believe one of the judges actually scored the fight for Fury.

I didn't write anything down but Usyk won the first 2-3 rounds, Fury clearly won 3-6, Usyk then got his seconds wind and stole 7-8 before obliterating him in 9, he took 10, and probably nicked the last two rounds.

I had it 8-3 Usyk with the second even and could have given it to either man. Realistically, I think you could have scored the 9th a 10-7 round just because of how much Usyk beat the brakes off Fury as well. Usyk swept the first 3 rounds pretty much, Fury rallied to take rounds 4, 5, and 6, then Usyk adjusts and ramps up the pressure and pace, stealing everything from round 7 onwards with a massive 9th round. At best, with the swing rounds in the 2nd and 12th, you could make a case for 5 Fury rounds, but I couldn't see 6 to justify that 114-113 Usyk card and certainly not enough to justify that abysmal 114-113 Fury card. 8-4 and 9-3 Usyk are the most accurate representation of this fight imo.

    3: Usyk (close)
    4: Fury
    5: Fury
    6: Fury
    7: Fury

    116-111 Usyk

I think if folks watch back again, in the early rounds Fury doing some showboating maybe affected their judgement of rounds 1-3, where Usyk was doing great bodywork with the straights and scored some great lefts over the top as well. Fury hardly scored much of note in the first 3 till the last 30 seconds of round 3 as Usyk was parrying and catching on gloves most of the jabs.

Fury did what he needed to do in 4-7 which was to get on the front foot, throw and disrupt Usyk's rythym, as the Cat was settling into a nice groove and doing what he said by not leaving Fury alone, and cutting off the ring to be in front of him every second of the rounds and dictate the tempo.

And I will give props to Fury in those rounds, he showed MUCh more than I expected to see from him based on his previous 4 fights!

But Usyk made adjustments in round 7 to nullify the uppercut, changed his angles a bit - he stopped dipping to his right and started feinting more laterally and tagged Fury with those sneaky lefts at the end of the round - and although I scored 7 to Fury, it was close and Fury was starting to feel the pace I think.

Rounds 8 and especially 9 were huge rounds for Usyk that really changed the whole flow of the fight - and regardless of what the ref, I think Fury would probably have been better served by taking a knee after the first shot that discombobulated him - being batted around the ring off the ropes really changed the whole perception of the fight, and Fury looked more hurt and out of it than at any other time in his career - I feel if the ref had not stepped in, Usyk might have finished it, but immaterial now.

Fury did REALLY well in round 10 to absorb some hard lefts and steady his legs, but Usyk was in clear control now and picking his shots and controlling things. I think maybe Usyk could have made more of an effort to close the show at the start of 10, but I think he was cautious, respecting Fury's powers of recovery and didn't want to punch himself out.

Whilst Fury scored some decent shots in both 11 & 12, I felt Usyk still scored the cleaner shots and was much more in control of those rounds - I've seen Fury been giving those rounds, but feel that might have been surprise for how he was still standing, let alone throwing back.

Fantastic fight, and will be interesting to see what the rematch brings, if it happens!

Had it 9-3 Usyk with 1kd and 4 close rounds, 3 of which I gave to Usyk. I have no problem for any of these to go either way (and it wouldn't change the outcome on my cards), although I usually don't like to give all close rounds to the same fighter.
I was rooting for Usyk so maybe there s bias there. Still, I do think he rightfully won and both men put on a great fight!

    Usyk-Fury:
    1) 10-9
    2) 10-9 close
    3) 10-9
    4) 9-10 close
    5) 9-10
    6) 9-10
    7) 10-9
    8) 10-9
    9) 10-8
    10) 10-9
    11) 10-9 close
    12) 10-9 close

I'm quite surprised people think it was this close. The only clear Fury rounds were 4-6.

Usyk clearly won rounds 1-3 and 11-12 landing more meanigful shots, especially in rounds 1-3 to the body, and he was noticeably dictating the pace in those rounds as he was backing Fury up, who managed to land just a handfull of significant punches.

Round 7 was close, in my opinion Usyk did more, though I wouldn't argue if someone gave it to Fury.

As for rounds 8-10 it was obviously Usyk.

Bottom line is that apart from rounds 4-6 Usyk clearly outlanded Fury, especially in relevant power punches, while Fury did land a lot of soft jabs, that didn't anything for him tbh. Also effective agression and ring generalship was definitely on the Usyk's side, he was the one going forward, he was making Fury back up, he was imposing his will on Fury.

For me it was a clear victory for the Ukrainian.
Fantastic fight and historical achievement. The best fighter of this era, we should all be grateful we got a chance to watch him performe.
