    Cosell was an absolute two faced **** of a human being, and had his nose wedged into a lot of asses to get where he did.

    **** him, he was just as shitty a cog as the "scum" he derides. He was just one more problem with the game.

    I recall after Cosell picked Foreman to beat Ali, Ali retaliated by saying to the very vain Howard "That thing on you head is a phony, and it came from the tail of a pony"! Priceless.

    I think he was referring to the promotion, the commissions, the refs who have a salary with promoters etc.

    I don't think he actually hated the sport itself.
