Did Cossell's commentary on the Larry Holmes-Randall Cobb fight come off as insane? Cossell almost single handedly ruined boxing that fight by forcing us to listen to a trio of commentary blabbers instead of one guy.
Howard was probably under a lot of duress, he didn't have the juice he used to have, from what I understand.
I miss Howard. Yes, was was an arrogant, narcissistic POS but that's in style nowadays. It was fun watching Don Meredith and Uecker get under his skin.
