good battersea boy is howard.. all credit to the lad if his health is ok and hes making a nice bit of dough

Was rob mccracken coaching him in his prime?

 

Yeah he was still in his prime when he hooked up with McCracken. It was not long after Eastman beat McCracken actually and just after he went out to America for the Joppy world title fight. Eastman signed with Hennessey and McCracken became his coach.

Talented in his day, great to watch.

Good to see he's still doing well for himself.

 

Eastman was quality, one of the best from the UK not to win a full world title. Froch used to spar with him for years and puts it a lot of his success down to 'getting battered round the ring for years of Howard whilst learning my trade'.
