He tried it...he was hoping for a boring last round so he can make this a draw....but Usyk knew it and he went for it. They needed to shorten the round to save the stiff Bodybuilder Imagine Joshua would have won the last round and this POS scores the fight 114-114 even. 120-108 Usyk is a more reasonable scorecard than 115-113 Usyk. Corruption wins often but not today.
On the upside the right man got the decision and it was unanimous. But these bad score cards issues has to be delt with. It's ludicrous. Usyk put a beatdown on Joshua not even corruption could save him from
Yes but i still like to call out those corrupt POS judges. I'm just very happy that Usyk got the W but still disgusted by that corrupt bald piece of corrupt ****. There is no way on earth Joshua won 5 rounds tonight.
10 - 2 usyk and suspect usyk took one of the rounds he lost off. Howard foster needs sacking. Same old trick...they usually give the home fighter as much as the early rounds as possible so all they need is a half decent finish to get a result.
I really want to see that scorecard. Hopefully they'll make it public. Wouldn't be shocked if he had it 5-4 Joshua after 9 tbh. Scandalous.
Even Howard must have been coward. Usyk broke fragile English baby so badly that even judges couldn't save him.
All of you must have your blinkers on, 120-108 is an outrageous scorecard, Rd5 and Rd6 were both clear Joshua rounds, you can’t score them any other way. Watching live I had the fight even after 8 rounds with Usyk coming on strong late as expected. I may change my mind on that but I won’t change my mind that this was a competitive fight. If you look at the compubox for this fight (yes I know this isn’t how to score fights) and score each round to the fighter who landed most in the round you get 115-113 Usyk. This alone should show you that calling a judge corrupt who scored it the same way is ridiculous. Here’s the link: https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www....s-anthony-joshua-compubox-punch-stats--160817 Overall Usyk outlanded Joshua 148-123. However in the twelfth Usyk outlanded Joshua by 20 punches so after 11 rounds Usyk had only outlanded Joshua by 5 punches according to these numbers with Joshua throwing more than Usyk in all of these rounds. There were several rounds in this fight where no one landed anything clean and you had to give the round based on only one or two punches landed. Yet it looks like the entire forum seems to have had Usyk sweeping all of these rounds. This is because the narrative going in was that Usyk is the more skilful boxer so Joshua essentially had to knock Usyk’s head off for you to score him a round. So I only bring up the punch stats to show that it wasn’t only me that saw a close fight but also, at a minimum, Howard Foster and whoever was doing compubox last night saw it the same way.
I had 4 rounds for Joshua, and I don't think that's controversial in any way. That said, almost all Usyk rounds were clear Usyk rounds (last borderline 10-8), with only one single clear Joshua round, and it's quite impossible to come up with something in favor of Joshua if you're not extremely partial. I can see anything from 119-108 to 115-113 as being legit. A draw is already being very biased/partial giving every single remotely close round to Joshua. That said, it's obviously an attempted robbery from Foster.
He gave Joshua the first two rounds somehow. Blatant bias. Then he tried to even it up in the second half when it became obvious that Joshua was not winning. Again, clever enough to present a semi-plausible score when his scorecard implies he was just shifting rounds not watching the fight.
I just saw his scorecard round by round and he gave first and second round to AJ. That will tell you everything that you need to know about those british corrupt judges.
