Had he not stepped in and inappropriately stopped the fight, which the IBF upheld to be the fact today, the cards had been "marked up" hearn stylie and GG would have been done on points and game over, no right to appeal.

    Nice one Ref. :happy

Im of the opinion that Groves was robbed of victory, but also that the refs decision is final. And I mean final. We all make mistakes at work and in life.Nobody would do the job if all of them got as much stick as he has got,and he is by no means the only one to **** it up.They won't take Frochs title and they can't make him fight George again.George might do better to get a fight soon against somebody else.Tyson Fury is fighting a poor opponent through no fault of his own.I wouldn't like Groves to be in the same position.

This is ironic.Just after last post I saw on news that Froch has been ordered to defend against Groves within 90 days,so I was wrong.Didnt know whether OP already knew and started thread with this in mind. Will be interesting now.A bit of deja vu as Froch went for a Kessler return instead of his mandatory Stevenson. This will be all about money,as usual.

Are you kidding me? I clearly stated "IBF upheld"

Keep up... that news came out almost 24 hours ago

yes they will fight, as the chavez crap is just a ruse for negotiations... that fight cannot be PPV so feck all for Frock.

what is the stat? 70% of rematches are won by the victor in the first fight.

So groves TKO.... early, won't leave it to chance this time.

Thanks Roberto.Interesting about the ruse.Your middle line isn't strictly true but I hope your prediction is correct, though I wouldn't be so sure myself.I keep thinking back to Jeff Fenech and Azumah Nelson.Fenech beat him out of sight in the first fight but was, like Groves, robbed .But was blasted out in the return.

Had Groves been robbed on points they still could have mandated a rematch.

If you look at the fights Frock has lost/been dominated in.... so Groves, Dirrell, Taylor.... there is a clear style there that eludes his come forward like the terminator and slug it out ****.

Groves will just be more hyped and far more confident 2nd time out knowing his style murders Frock.

Listen to McCracken after the fight "I knew his style was all wrong for us"

As I say I hope you're right. Not totally convinced but wouldn't argue.I do believe Froch has gone back a bit also.I think there could be a major sticking point about money. The rumours have already started.

No chance, fight happens. They each cannot make anything close to what this fight brings.
