    Happy for Blackwell as if there's one fighter in the UK that deserves a break it's him - but that was premature.

    Blackwell had him hurt and Ryder wasn't returning fire, but you have to give him a chance!

    you can't just stop a fight if a guy is hurt, give him a chance, he didn't even go down

    these stoppages are what is wrong with british boxing... gives uk a bad name and howard foster has done it many times before

    Fair play - I know you backed Nick. But like hitnhope says - do you REALLY see Ryder coming back? Given Nicks incredible engine, hunger, guts etc....?

    literally just finished saying to me bird that 'this ref is known for stopping fights early' and then he stopped that. Premature but probably only a matter of time anyway.

    exactly, his only action at all was a drunken stumble backwards into the ropes with his hands down and a look on his face like wtf where am i. the punches were barely landing at the point but he was in real danger and really was not going to defend himself or even try to hold on.
