HOWARD FOSTER TO REF BROOK SPENCE

Just saw this myself, a prem stoppage is definitely in play here.

 

That stinks.

His recent record suggests he shouldn't be let near a fight of this magnitude.

 

Ffs he's on the worst form of his life (and that's saying something) and they throw him in a fight this size.

Howard foster is the paul smith of refs he gets jobs that are way too big for him and that he in no way shape or form deserves.

 

you lot are going on as if Foster has an hour long youtube vid of his outrageous stoppages?(he might have,i aint checked)....
Granted in the Froch v Groves fight it was too early ,only because i wanted to see Groves on canvas!....the one last weekend was a good stoppage imo..

it must be harder for a ref to stop it than let a fighter get ktfo?he has zero glory stopping a fight

In all seriousness I do think he is a good ref. I'm sure it will still be a good fight

 

He is a bit of a yo yo ref, sometimes he is excellent other times hes terrible (though he always watches fighters eyes closely when they are hurt). I am a big Brook fan but there is a bigger issue why he should not ref the fight, a Yorkshire fighter fighting in a massive fight which is also taking place in Yorkshire, biggest fight seen in Yorkshire in goodness knows how long and the ref is a Yorkshireman too.

 

I understand that he's just stopped the fight after watching a promo on Sky.

 

Hope he finally referees a fight fairly for a change..............

If i was them I certainly would be objecting.
