I fink later on wen some more american member come online, they'll have details of the fight. I wnted to see it buh it wasn't on in the UK
It was a reasonably close fight from what I hear, and the fact that he passed the test with all of Lovemore's pressure is just what the doctor ordered, experience wise.
Pretty ordinary. Ndou's tactics were to throw a punch or two (especially the left hook) then clinch and bury his head into Cintron's shoulder whilst holding his arms. Cintron therefore couldn't get range and fire off his punches. Cintron looked to have wobbled Ndou in R2 with a body shot and Ndou's tactics weren't changing after that. The disapoointing thing was that it ended up being a somewhat boring fight with Ndou's tactics clearly to survive against the taller, powerful opponent and Cintron disappointing in that he never really took a step back to get some distance and open up. You can tell that Cintron as some 'pop' in his punches though...
I havent seen the fight. But is was a lightweight in against a huge welter weight so its a nod to Ndou's toughness that he not only could last the rounds but took some off Cintron.
