Doing well. Bombarded Kristjansen early, but didn't shift him. Kristjansen coming into it more now, but Khan still landing the better shots.
It was looking a bit ragged for the last 3 rounds, though. He still looks vulnerable to a counter right. When he had Kristjansen hurt though, he flurried like a mother****er and overwhelmed the guy.
And both RJJ and his fans still complain about it to this day, so maybe a DQ would've been wrong here too? Point deduction was needed, not a DQ.
He's being interviewed by Jim Rosenthal now and he's still hitting Kristiansan between sentences, its ****ing scandalous.
No but serious. The first KD was insane. He should not have walked away from that. That was more than dirty and it was BAD. 2 point deduction or something at least.
He did OK, very fast hands and good power early. He appeared to lose the power in his shots after the 3rd, his stamina didn't look great. Kristiansen is a good european level fighter, and for a guy 17 fights into his career he's a good opponent, but if Khan thinks he's going to be able to go on from this guy to fighting the likes of Campbell, Diaz and Casamayor then he's mistaken. Thats a big leap in class and he'd be exposed. He needs another 2 or 3 fights before he's at that level.
Now put him in with a puncher and watch him get ktfo. chin of a small romanian child made out of ice thats been in the sun 2 hours
This is going the Audley Harrison route. Hype, Hype, Hype and he's fighting bums with no power at all.
