How's that US writers always find a way to cover up such a disgrace?

    I agree with the TS.

It's stupid people that don't bring up these issue that let **** like this keep happening in the sport. Are these guys real fans or not? Kotelnik was straight up robbed but most people wouldn't even know it.

Some people need to open their minds. 80% is damning numbers as most of us don't have an agenda unlike King, HBO and co.

Devon has a huge family and 1 stupid brother. Kotelnik has been on his own and homeless since the age of 12 and build himself up into an Olympic Silver Medalist, talk about self made. HBO knew Kotelnik's story as they briefly mentioned it. If they wanted a good personal story they had it but they don't. It's Nationalism period.

The Yahoo report wasn't much better. It's probably the only time I've seen punches thrown as a measure for victory with complete omission of punches landed. They didn't even want to put it in writing that Kotelnik landed more.

Am not a fan of either fighter, but I did see the fight and I thought that the right guy got the win. I was surprised by kotelniks reaction at the end of the fight. Cheering like he was sure he won. He did put the hurt on, but was not busy enough. Also when the fight ended Kotelnik had more left than Alexander. Alexander eeked it out, Kotelnik was not busy enough. He may have won a 15 rounder. Every time Kotelnik threw, he put the hurt on.... but he still lost. Was kinda like watching a Calzaghe fight. Hometown cooking will never go away. It's a spectator sport and a live audience will always influence the judging.

Harold Lederman is a joke, and so is the boxing media in general. It wasn't a rout as some have been asserting, but I thought Alexander lost 112-115

There's way too much hysteria around this decision. I for one thought the Martinez/Cintron draw was a bigger travesty........and that was a draw!

I think the reason there's so much complaining now is because alot of us are sick of boxing screwing its own fans all the time. We can't see the best fights routinely, and it seems like more than ever we can't even get honest judges or play-by-play from the people whose job it is to inform fans. Analysts can't even give honest feedback during fights now because they don't want to take any shine off the fighters HBO's invested in. It's just sad and insulting.

That the fans are speaking up about things like that is only a good thing. Unless we're vocal about bull**** decisions or the media screwing with us, promoters aren't going to stop serving up hometown cooking.

Im not suprised, a lot of judges only seem to judge the fight on clean and effective punching when their guy is doing the clean and effective punching so im sure this finds its way to the US writers as well

Having said that, im seeing more and more reports agreeing that kotelnik won the fight
