I'm considering putting £50 on a Rafa KO, along with £100 on Glen Johnson. If the Rafa KO comes, I receive £350 back, and if Glen Johnson wins I receive £150. As we all know, Rafa is a serious underdog and Glen Johnson is the favourite, so as long as Glen Johnson wins I break even, however, I'm SOL if both fighters lose, which I don't really see happening.

Would you consider this a safe bet? The Rafa one is the moneymaker, the one that truly matters is the GJ bet. Your thoughts?

Im thinking about doing a parlay with the 4 fights this weekend. Bodog just doesnt have the odds up yet for the Judah, Guerrero and Johnson fight. Johnson is the favorite against Green??

    anyways here is my picks.

    Rafa
    Johnson
    Judah
    Guerrero

    What do you think?

The Judah fight is tough because he chokes alot but i havent seen enough of Matthyse to go for him. Except for that fight against hmm i think it was Corley or Harris. Which he didnt impress me in.

I think that's a bold bet, but they're pretty safe, Rafa being the exception. I imagine that's your moneymaker so you won't get near enough money if you cut that one. I'd stay on the fences for it unless you're truly confident, I just need the money.

I think Johnson is a TERRIBLE bet as a favourite (in my opinion, of course). Green is a weak fighter, but Johnson is 41, coming down to a weight he hasn't seen in years, and he's shown himself to be fading seriously in his past few fights. Only way I'd consider betting on him is if he was a 2 to 1 underdog... not the favourite. All of that said, I'm hoping Johnson can win and I hope it's a narrow decision that he wins also. He's earned a close decision, for ****'s sake.

Dwyer's said that if he doesn't make the weight, all bets are off.

Problem is, if he DOES make the weight, you KNOW he's gonna be drained. There's just no avoiding it. A guy who has been fighting at 175lbs for years doesn't just drop downt o 168lbs in healthy fashion. I just think there are too many variables to bet on Johnson while he's the favourite. Very bad odds to take on so much risk, in my opinion.
