Delahoya look pretty good against Forbes evethough Forbes lack of power still showed on Hoya's face however I dont expect things to be different for his next fight against Mayweather as from the result of the first fight and here is my reasons.

First no matter how much or how many rounds Forbes has sparred with Mayweather, he is not in Mayweather class. Forbes is smaller, slower, weaker, has a shorter reach, less stamina, and not as explosive as Mayweather. Forbes does have good defensive and he showed that against Delahoya. He showed that by blocking or making Delahoya miss alot of shots. However this are all attributes Mayweather has way better than Forbes.

Second even with Oscar fighting a Mayweather "mimic" fighter like Forbes for a tune up fight, people forget that Oscar sparred with Sugar Shane Mosley who showed during the countdown saga that he knows also how to mimic Floyd Mayweather Jr. If he couldnt beat floyd by sparring agaisnt a Hall of Famer like Mosley how much can a win over Forbes actually do for him besides boost his confidence, although he couldnt knock Forbes out.

So in all Mayweather is a class above Forbes in every way, knows his own style of boxing better than anyone who even tries to mimic him, and Oscar couldnt finish off a prototype of Mayweather eventhough he had the trainer who supposely came up with the style(also considers himself the greatest trainer ever) that Mayweather use , so why will things change for the next fight. Mayweather will have confidence over Delahoya because he already beat him and just knock out Ricky Hatton. Mayweather is at the peak of his prime while Oscar is over his. I may be wrong, September is a 5 months from now so things may change. I mean I never seen Mayweather this excited to have a rematch with someone he already beat. Next he is going to want to fight Big Show again.

It will be the same fight. I have no interst in it and I'm a huge Floyd fan. I would rather watch Hoya vs Tito or Floyd vs Mosley. I hope UFC has a huge fight that day to **** them up. And I hate UFC

PBF wins and it won't be close this time. I'd rather see Floyd fight Cotto/Margarito winner next or fight anyone decent in the process till Cotto/Marg is done with. Though if the rematch is set I really can't blame them for making it happen, no not because I'm a huge Mayweather fan. It's simple, watch the first fight again and you'll get the idea, the fight was close, I actually gave it to DLH, when a fight is too close a rematch is logical. Don't understand why some make it sound like PBF KO'd him in round 1 and a rematch is completely worthless.

I assume it'll pretty much be the same as the first fight.. DLH needs to stick with that jab..

I didn't think the fight was close at all, I think alot of those punches Oscar threw didn't connect. But Floyd needs to fight Cotto and our boy Mosley considering how he looks against Zab. Cotto vs Hoya would love to see what he did against Chavez, but on him instead

Oscar came pretty close to beating floyd, with no tune up fight. now that he's done it, he's not shaking off ring rust DURING the big fight, that'll be mayweathers problem. The ricky hatton knock out means nothing. Mayweather didn't beat oscar decisively after a year layoff. This fight should be reasonably close

Floyd wins by bigger margin than first time, though I saw the first one as a wide Unanimous win.

I'm pretty confident that Mosley will look really good against Zab and might even finish him off early believe it or not, so I'm not worried about that one at all. Floyd does need to fight the winner of Cotto/Margarito next, a DLH fight is useless FOR HIM since he already has that W in his record, but if they make it then they have a reason for it which is the fact that the first fight was close. Well the official cards say it's close(not that it's always correct of course) then the majority of people(apart from the few hardcore fans) will know it's close and just proceed to buy. Cotto vs Hoya is very very possible, I'm pretty sure if the PBF fight doesn't work out they'll go for that(considering Cotto beats Marg) and I'll buy it for sure. Though it's fair to say that the majority want PBF/Cotto more than anything else and at least I hope that happens and as soon as possible.

Yeah I really think Shane whoops Zab, but if Hoya can sign a Cotto before THE MONEY ISSUES BETWEEN HIM A fLOYD starts that will make my year. And I love Floyd, but he isn't fooling me anymore.

A big difference is that it won't generate even a half of the money the first one did. :good

I agree after spending 60$ the first fight and totally
    not getting my moneys worth.
I will not be paying for this one.
    Probably watch via SOPCAST.
Really hope DLH brings more to the ring this time.

If you are a fan of fighting
How can you hate UFC? :nono

Same result in the rematch, it's not that Forbes has bad defense, he was willing to go toe to toe with the bigger Oscar. he was willing to trade, Floyd is never willing. he'll run again to another victory.

oscar won a close Decision, in the 1st. in this fight he didn't gas out. so It's safe to assume he got his cardio back, and should keep it for the next fight.
