the move from 130-135 was just a little move compared to 135-154. 147? wtf are you talking about..DLH can't make that weight no more..the fight with forbes was originally to be at 147 but instead it still took place at 154

I think when boxing don't have these many weight classes, there were matches with more size differential than Hoya-PAC and I guess the bigger guy didn't came out the winner all the time.

Just consider Hoya-PAC as boxing in the old days but even that, as long as they can agree on a catch weight, I think fans will accept it eventually as another intriguing match-up.

I hope this fight never takes place. Oscar should be ashamed of himself for even thinking about it.

if hoya and pac really does want to get it on, nothing will stop this fight from happening including size difference, unless dela hoya got massive amounts of criticism and gives in to pressure from unhappy fans. but really, both fighters are now on the end of their careers and we cannot ask for anything more from these two boxers who always went for the best opponent possible in their whole career.

If Hoya will tire out in the second half of the fight, I can see PAC stopping him or else PAC via decision granting PAC can avoid a clean Hoya punch.

PAC can use his much superior speed and stamina coupled with moderate power to beat this bigger guy.

Exactly, they should both retire imo. Hoya should have long ago. If manny doesn't want to take on the other lightweights then he can follow Hoya out the door.

The only reason I'd ever wanna see this fight happen, is to read and hear a bunch of Pacqilites go into Paquishock when DLH sends Pac to the canvass for the 10 count via left-hook.

So you rather want PAC to retire now than seeing him fight Hoya and then Hatton then retire?

As for Hoya, he should have retired long time ago but what the heck, just give him his last wish to fight the no. 1 P4P best boxer in the world in his ultimate farewell fight this coming December 6, 2008.

Do you think Hoya will fight Margarito if Margarito will be the winner this weekend?

i don't. even though it'd be a all mexican fight, the big money fight is with cotto. but, from the looks of it, DLH might not fight either one of them if he's seriously talking about fighting pac. again, he should fight the winner of cotto-margo. if he isn't going to take the winner of that fight, he should just go ahead and retire now. beating pac does nothing for his resume.
