Problems keep creeping up regarding negotiations for this fight. Surprisingly, Pac is the one who keeps throwing curveballs. First he wanted a guarenteed $20 mill. Next, he wanted Oscar to pay a 750k penalty for every pound he comes in over 147(he later changed that figure to $1mill). Now, there's issues with the gloves. The fight will be in Vegas. Not only does Pac want to wear 8oz. gloves, he wants Hoya to wear 10oz. gloves. This of course is completely against the rules. Both men have to wear either 10 oz. or 8 oz. gloves. Maybe next Pac will request that he gets to wear headgear. I question whether Pac really wants to fight Oscar.

The more curveballs Packiow thows, the more people will say Della Hoya will hit a home run.

I think the ones requesting for those smaller gloves and thousand dollar penalties isnt just Pac himself, but his team of handlers.

He's paying those handlers, so they represent him. I can only assume that they aren't making moves that are against his wishes.

Lots of damn hangers on and ass-kissers on the Pac entourage.

Theyre protecting their golden goose and their meal ticket..

Theyre probably nearly coming in their pants when thinking about all the money their "buddy" is gonna get once this thing is greenlighted.

Manny has always said he'll fight whoever his handlers/promoters set up for him, as long as they weigh the same. Something like that.

The chances for a Pacman win if this fight ever pulls through seems very dim to me.

he is saying he wants a same day weigh in aswell which means if oscar makes 147 he will be a weightdrained zombie and have to fight a few hours after the weigh in considering oscar hasnt done 147 in years big advantage for pac but I hope this match falls apart so we can see pac fight some more lightweight champs and step up for hatton next year in his final weight division,we dont need to see a circus sideshow this is boxing not wwe

Didn't DLH do the same before his fight with Mayweather?, about time someone does the same, let's see if Oscar will accept.

I bet you Oscar is going to do what it takes to make this fight happen, but if Manny is trying to railroad the fight, hopefully Oscar will fight Winky like he always should have. Winky or Tito.

No, Oscar picked the brand the Mayweather wore not the actual size of the gloves. Team Pac is trying to break the rules and manipulate the size of the gloves. The rules clearly state that both fighters have to wear either 8 oz. or 10 oz. gloves. Pac wants to wear 8 oz. gloves and make Hoya wear 10 oz. gloves. Hoya couldn't agree to this even if he wanted to. The NSALC wouldn't sanction the bout.

Pacquiao want's De La Hoya to wear a blindfold for the first 3 rounds...
Only use a jab for the next 3...
And fight southpaw for the remainder....lol

    *While wearing 10oz gloves
*Pacquiao will be allowed to wear Tapped fist's with glass ala "Kickboxer"..
