how is it against the rules didnt Morales wear 10oz gloves and Pacquiao 8oz gloves for the rematch.

I know in the 1st they both wore 10oz and in the rubbermatch 8oz

You are confusing weight of the gloves with the brand of the gloves.

How is it against the rules?

you shouldn't even have to ask this

but above 140 Nevada state Athletic commission requires 10 ounce gloves.

so why would Manny get to use 8 ounce gloves at the proposed 147 fight vs Oscar, unless Oscar ALSO agrees to wearing 8 ounce gloves

it will never happen where 2 diff boxers where 2 diff gloves size at the same weight.

    Big Bone ......
I don't see the huge disadvantage for Pac at all. Pac and Mayweather are almost at the same size. After a few months of training PacMan can gain 5-6 pounds of real muscle meaning he would be 151-2 pounds fight night, 152!!! That's Mayweather's weight vs. Oscar.

Are you serious? You have a natural lightweight at 135 his best weight now about the same size as Oscar who is always 162 to 165 fight night. C'mon Oscarsexual, that is too way out there. This fight should never be sanctioned with the kind of weight advantage Oscar is trying to have. Oscar has done it again, selling something as preposterous as a lightweight fighting a middleweight. How you guys can worship such a pompous egotistical punk like Oscar who only thinks of himself, never his fans, is beyond me. Oh wait, I forgot, he does think of his fans. He ddn't charge PPV for the Forbes fight. Damn, what a guy!

Hey Bruh . . . don't be part of their HYPING mechanism. :D

This is an exibition fight . . . so it's only logical that the small guy going up in weight be allowed to wear his normal weight of gloves while the bigger guy would be allowed to wear his normal weight of gloves. Who cares about the rules and the boxiing governing bodies . . . they are fighting for nothing.

All these things are normal in a negotiations. These people (the media) who keeps creating big deal over small issues are paid to promote the fight. They want these ****i'n fight in the headlines everyday. :yep

LOL, wow, I didn't know about that. Unreal. If this is all true I doubt whether Pacquiao is serious either.

With the size advantage DLH will have, I don't blame Pac for trying to even this up as much as possible. Besides, there is a reason DLH wants Pac as well. Both will likely make more money in this fight then ever.

And if Pac says no, what's left for DLH? Sergio Mora? That might do HALF of what DLH - Mayorga did if they were lucky. We know DLH won't go near Margarito. So it's Pac and DLH is seeing he needs Pac as well.

sounds like reality is starting to sink in at the pac camp. if pac fights with a lot of heart he could get ruined. oscar has to know how this reflects on him. im sure he has got people scanning the boxing sites to gauge the response the fans are showing to this silly fight.
