Great job, mate. He's such a terrific fighter. If HBO had any sense whatsoever, they'd be putting the smaller, better fighters out there on BAD instead of certain other fighters that I won't be negative and hate on at the moment. These are the guys that deserve it.

Hozumi had a crazy rollercoaster year from that demolishing loss to tragedy to a truly memorable win in his 126lbs debut.

there are talks about him coming to Mexico at least for his next fight against Jhonny Gonzalez so hes on the right trail..

 

Why wasn't there a rematch with Montiel?

 

HH was having a lot of trouble staying at BW, and it seemed healthier to jump straight to Featherweight, I guess. If a guy goes up two weight classes after a long title reign, it seems pretty likely he was really draining hard.

HH had not moved up if there would have been a chance for a Montiel rematch but Montiel tunred it down. he eyed Donaire, Darchinyan guys who have some name recognition in the States and get him bigger paydays
