For Hasegawa I would say get a tuneup win...stay at 126 and then go onto challenge Chris John. Either that or go down to 122 and try and get a strap there. May'be against Ndlovu.

Ugh. People were saying he'd be KTFO by Burgos, who is well regarded and not some unproven prospect.

    Stop hating.

Thanks for the RBR, IB. I appreciate it extra today. ...I am however going to go vent my frustrations by strangling the hobo I've been holding captive in my basement. Er...I mean...by...lifting weights. Yeah, weights, that's the ticket.

Just make sure you dispose of the body in the next thirteen hours and return in time for my Lemieux-Rubio coverage. :thumbsup

    Did I say dispose of the body? I meant...do your post-workout stretches...yeah...stretches...

Damn, now I really had to work! Who comes up with that sh#t!

At least al my predictions were correct (except I had a UD for Aoh instead of a ko), so that's a relief...

Ok..who did Burgos beat to say that hes proven?

Im not hating just keeping it real...Hasegawa isnt made for featherweight, if he doesnt go down in weight hes nothing but a glorified stepping stone in this division.

Enough of this sobbing crap about Hasegawa, how about some props for Johnny Gonzalez?

He finally got the big win in his career where he always loses and gets ktfo whenever he steps up in competition.

    Quit trolling.

I was cheering for hasegawa but im not going to let recognition for a job well done go unnoticed even if it is against my fighter.

This is Jhonny's moment let him have it.

That's not really true. He had that nice 3 fight stretch of beating Singwancha, Mark Johnson, and Fernando Montiel. It's just his first big win in a long long time.

You're just ****ing nitpicking. GRR!

Burgos' resume isn't chock full of yummy bits, but he's ****ing 23. He'd beaten Castillo and a number of gatekeepers and looked pretty damn good in doing so. People had liked what they'd seen of him, and tipped him to knock Hozumi out.

    He then got clearly beaten.

That was a good featherweight debut for Hasegawa. Not GREAT, it didn't pole-vault him to the very top of the division, but a good debut nonetheless.

Hasegawa is in the mix at featherweight. For that matter, so is Jackson Asiku (top 15-ish).

Jhonny Gonzalez just hits like a damn truck. He can lose every round and kill you in the 12th.
