Huh, round 6 may go to Munoz. He threw a lot, landed a gew shots....and Nishioka didn't throw or land much. Did some head movement, but a possible Munoz round.

    Round 7

Right jabs to the body by the champion. Munoz tries to dive in low and land his own body shots but keeps pulling the plug on the operation. Nishioka landing well to the body from mid-range with left hands to the hip and right hooks to the ribs. Munoz is just going for broke and lunging in wildly with overhand rights that get blocked high and left hooks to the body that glance as Nishioka steps away turning. Munoz throwing hard to the body coming forward now. Nishioka peels out, quickly circling and trying to get some space as Munoz keeps throwing hard pendulums. Nishioka landing a few good counters to the body.

    69-64 Nishioka-san

Damn, good round. Nishioka threw out a couple of nice 6 punch combos. Munoz landed his best punch of the night, a left hook. Nice back and forth round, best round of the night so far. Big Nishioka round though.

    Round 8

Munoz keeps walking forward into right jabs, taking them on the forearms and then backing out before starting all over again. Lead rights from Munoz now as he backs away, handing the reins over to Nishioka. The 1-2 and body attack are Nishioka's weapons as he walks Munoz across the ring. Nishioka parries some left jabs and then drills out a hard left hand. Right jab to the chest by N. Left hand to the stomach. Clinch. Break. Another hard left hand lead down low by N. Munoz covering up, suddenly bursts forward with some hard lunging shots. Nishioka tracks back with a little twinkle-toe action with his arms held out protectively.

    79-73 Toshiaki Nishioka

78-74 on two scorecards and I believe the other was 78-75. A bit close TBH. Nishioka coming out firing some combos and throwing a lot. Continues to box nicely.

    Round 9

Munoz is pressing with his right hand, just throwing the one punch at a time before recoiling back into his guard. Nishioka is therefore able to move away at a pretty casual clip, not worrying much about the telegraphed right and able to keep his distance. Nishioka not countering much, though. Nishioka holds out his right jab as a stick, Wladimir Klitschko style. Suddenly Nishioka hurts Munoz with a left!! Nishioka pounces on him and circles him very rapidly throwing rights and lefts!! MUNOZ DOWN!!!!!!!!! OVER!!

Already means Munoz needs at least a knockdown to take the tiltle.
